Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist II to join our team. This role involves performing machining setup and operations to ensure the machine shop achieves its daily production and quality objectives.
- Shift - Monday through Friday, 2 : 45 PM to 11 : 15 PM
Overtime is Frequent
Salary - $28-$32 per hourTarget Annual Bonus - 4%Responsibilities :
Set up and operate CNC Mills and / or Lathes, including selecting tools, holding fixtures, and methods for machining parts.Perform tool changes, adjust offsets, and deburr parts during the machining cycle.Interpret CNC programs, recognize issues, and make necessary adjustments for tool wear and minor program corrections.Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (gauges, automated CMMs) and blueprints.Complete required documentation, including scorecards, routers, and hazard recognitions.Maintain production rates based on pre-established standards while ensuring all products meet quality and drawing specifications.Perform secondary operations such as operating simple machines or processes, including drill presses, stamping presses, and deburring.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying new machining methods to enhance quality and productivity.Assist in training team members as needed.Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).A minimum of three (3) years of CNC setup experience or completion of a machining apprenticeship program.Proficiency in blueprint reading (or the ability to complete onsite blueprint training successfully).Ability to work overtime when needed.Strong physical dexterity, including frequent bending, lifting (up to 20 lbs. frequently, 35 lbs. occasionally), and standing for extended periods.Preferred Experience :
