Location : Hybrid (Columbus, OH area)

Role Overview

The Engagement Operations Manager ensures the smooth daily operations of our Engagement Team.

You’ll coordinate people, schedules, systems, and event logistics across major initiatives such as Blueprint Columbus, Lead Safe Columbus, Livingston Avenue, and LinkUS.

This position connects leadership vision with field execution—turning plans into action and data into insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day engagement operations : scheduling, event tracking, and follow-up reporting.
  • Oversee Smartsheet and Harvest Forecast for scheduling, time tracking, and performance metrics.
  • Support project execution across multiple community programs.
  • Coordinate after-shift reports, weekly updates, and leadership communications.
  • Partner with leadership on staffing, coverage, and training logistics.
  • Lead onboarding workflow (Bill.com invites, W-9 collection, Harvest setup, GroupMe access).
  • Track and replenish SWAG inventory and event materials.
  • Develop and refine SOPs for scheduling, accountability, and reporting.
  • Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in operations, project coordination, or community engagement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Proven organizational skills and systems fluency (Smartsheet, Harvest, Bill.com preferred).
  • Clear, consistent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable leading people and processes.
  • Background in outreach or community programming is a plus.
  • Work Expectations

  • Hybrid schedule – primarily remote with occasional on-site meetings or events.
  • 35–40 hours per week.
  • Participation in key team and leadership meetings.
  • Some evening or weekend availability for public-facing events.
  • Compensation

    $48,000 – $55,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

    Start Date

    Target start date : November 10 or November 17, 2025 (flexible depending on candidate availability).
