Responsibilities Work at a freestanding emergency department with coverage at the main facility for call shifts Primary shift is Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Choice of 2 call shifts per week for CT or X-Ray at the main facility CT on-call is weekends only from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; X-Ray on-call is Monday through Friday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and 24 hours on weekends Candidates must be capable of performing both CT and X-Ray procedures, including stroke protocols and perfusion scans Equipment includes Philips, Toshiba, and Canon CT scanners Position involves operating CT and radiographic equipment, correctly adjusting technical factors, and positioning patients for optimal imaging Responsibilities include assisting physicians during procedures, preparing rooms and supplies, and managing contrast reactions and emergency codes Must be able to schedule, complete exams, and correctly enter charge codes Two recent manager or supervisor references from the last 12 months are preferred for consideration, with at least one from the most recent employer Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted COVID and Flu vaccination documentation required Facility mandates CPI certification for all technologists Requirements Minimum of 2 years prior work experience in a U.S. hospital setting for the specialty required CT Technologist and registered radiology technologist experience required ARRT certification required Active, non-pending state license with Fluoro required, license required if applicable Associate's Degree or completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required AHA certifications required Competency in multimodality imaging (CT and X-Ray) required CPI certification required Must be knowledgeable in stroke protocols and perfusion scans or willing to be trained Must have a valid U.S. Social Security Number Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-613606.
