The role includes working with advanced practice providers (APPs) and a dedicated nursing team, ensuring efficient patient management and surgical support within a fully equipped medical facility. The physician is part of a team that handles variable patient volumes, averaging around 10 surgeries per month while also participating in on-call duties.

Complete Cardio-Thoracic coverage for hospital.
This includes urgent cases and call.
No clinic coverage necessary. This is for hospital only.

There is first assist APP and APP rounding.

Physician will be second call.

Adult demographic

100% Hospital based

EMR : Cerner

Patients per day : variable (10 surgeries / month for full time provider)

Support staff, APP coverage, number of providers in the clinic and on-site services : CTCVS is supported with 1-3 APPs (sourcing locums and recruiting during a current gap). There isa dedicated RN to the program who facilitates scheduling. OR, radiology, and lab are all onsite.

Must include 4 hours of gratis in Oncall .
