Research Services Program Manager

The Program Manager will oversee day-to-day operations for a large, multicenter grant planning endeavor, supporting the Principal Investigator (PI) and study leadership team in coordinating scientific, administrative, and regulatory activities across multiple sites. This role requires a strong background in research administration, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with investigators, research staff, and institutional partners.

Key Responsibilities :

• Grant Preparation & Administration
• Coordinate and contribute to the preparation of a large, multicenter grant proposal, with meeting summaries and creation of related documents (including budgets, justifications, biosketches, and multi-institutional agreements.)
• Assist in drafting study protocols, manuals of procedures, data management plans, and regulatory submissions.
• Track deadlines and deliverables to ensure timely submission of NIH-required materials.
• Project Coordination
• Serve as primary point of contact for multicenter communications, facilitating regular meetings and maintaining clear documentation of decisions and action items.
• Support the development of study governance structures.
• Monitor timelines, milestones, and deliverables across sites.
• Partner with departmental administrators and the PI to develop budgets and subawards.
• Ensure compliance with institutional and NIH financial policies.
• Regulatory & Compliance
• Support IRB submissions and reporting across participating institutions.
• Ensure compliance with NIH policies, human subjects protections, and data sharing requirements.
• Data & Reporting
• Work with biostatistics and data management teams to ensure preliminary data collection tools and reporting systems are established during the planning period.

Work Location : Hybrid this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings in Aurora, CO.

Conditions of Employment : The Program Manager will be expected to work closely with faculty, staff, and external collaborators at multiple institutions. Occasional travel to coordinating meetings or site visits may be required.

Anticipated Pay Range :

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $67,864-$86,323. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
