Position Overview :

The Extron Product Development Department is searching for an Applications Engineer to work in our R&D environment on the audio product development team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Working in an R&D environment on the audio product development team.
• Assist with conceptualizing, defining, documenting and beta testing of new products.
• Supporting and training other teams in the organization.
• Will focus primarily on growing and supporting Extron's audio line of products including; audio accessories, speakers, amplifiers and audio DSP processors for the professional audiovisual industry.

Qualified Candidates will have :

• BS degree in EE or ET or equivalent experience in the audio visual industry.
• 2 years’ working experience with design tools such as AutoCad and / or Microsoft Visio.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Basic knowledge of either live or integrated audio systems.
• Basic knowledge of AVoIP and associated network protocols.
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized, computer literate.
• Dante Certification is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment.

Salary Range : $85,000 to $100,000. Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
