We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and help us drive our next phase of growth.
The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Electrical Engineer to play a key role in our hardware development team. This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong sense of ownership and urgency to see projects through from concept to market. You will work on advanced display and electronic solutions, collaborating with a cross-functional team to bring innovative products to market on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Circuit Design & Development : Design, simulate, and troubleshoot analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power circuits.
- Prototyping & Testing : Create product verification plans, perform testing, and support validation, testing and failure analysis for EMC / EMI.
- Project Leadership : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, support design reviews, and present designs, analysis, and testing results to customers.
- Documentation & Sourcing : Write functional specifications, hardware test plans, and design documents, maintain schematics and assembly drawings, and work with suppliers to define materials and designs.
- Manufacturing Support : Define systems-level product qualification and life testing and support a high-volume production environment.
Qualifications
Required : BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years of commercial hardware design and development experience.Proficiency with popular PCB layout software tools (e.g., PADS, Mentor, etc.).Proficiency with relevant lab instrumentation (scopes, spectrum analyzers, digital multimeters, logic analyzers, etc.).Strong design expertise in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuitry in one of the following : video GPU circuitry, power circuitry, automatic gain control circuitry.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Willingness to travel up to 20% to support projects and customers.Preferred qualifications
Experience with embedded systems hardware design.Experience with high-speed circuit board layout on mixed-signal boards.Advanced knowledge of LCD, OLED, and Micro LED technologies and their electronic systems.Experience in gaming device manufacturing requirements.Familiarity with USB protocols for troubleshooting and working with USB analyzers.Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and technical project management.Skills & Attributes
