Position Summar
The Associate Account Development Executive, (AADE) works in conjunction with Senior Account Development Executives, (ADEs). Responsibilities and functions reflect the “apprentice-like” nature of this role, designed to quickly achieve the knowledge and “know how” necessary to earn further career advancement as a Senior Account Development Executive. In collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product and Sales Operations the AADE assists with new sales opportunities, pre-sales discovery, solution designs, and issues escalations as well as gathering of assets, and performing other general sales administrative functions. The AADE utilizes a unique blend of technical knowledge, administrative and sales skills to ensure a successful partnership and increase overall revenue generation.
Territory includes : Northeast, MidAtlantic and parts of the Southeast- must live in territory to be considered
Position Responsibilities & Essential functions
Participates in the sales discovery process, helping to uncover prospect / customer’s business objectives, challenges and issues.
Assists in responding to functional and technical elements of RFPs (requests for proposal).
Works with internal teams through the sales and implementation process, coordinating activities.
Works to understand & navigate CDK’s Culture, internal network of resources, tools, and processes.
Contributes to documentation and recording of activities per established best practices.
Serves as a liaison between sales and other business units, in assigning and executing various sales administrative requests.
Gains an understanding of the industry segment and keep abreast of competitor developments.
Work with internal and external teams to ensure successful onboarding and rollout of solutions sold.
Qualifications
At least 1-2 years of demonstrated ability to build business relationships in a b2b sales environment.
Ability to manage a complete sales process.
At least 1-2 years of experience managing account plans, work opportunities, and closing business.
Knowledge of automotive retail processes and products.
Level of comfort with digital technology solutions.
Experience utilizing CRM.
Willing / Able to travel 50% to 75%.
Preferred :
Initiative and initiative-taker.
Must be willing to relocate if the opportunity presents itself.
Bachelor’s degree
Salary = $70,000 + Commissions + Benefits
