A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Position type : Full-time, Contract

Duration :  6 months with possible extension

Location :  Remote

About the Role :

Step into a dynamic position where precision meets purpose. As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you'll be the organizational backbone supporting two recruiters responsible for staffing six nuclear sites across Illinois—primarily in the vibrant Chicago area. Your mission? To orchestrate smooth hiring journeys for specialized roles like security officers, operations staff, maintenance technicians, radiation control technicians, and chemists.

  • ? What You'll Be Doing :
  • Class Hire Coordination : Manage group hiring events, ensuring candidates move through the process together—from interviews to onboarding.
  • Interview & Onboarding Maestro : Schedule interviews, track onboarding milestones, and coordinate essential steps like background checks, drug screenings, and medical exams in collaboration with hiring managers, candidates, and site nurses.
  • Process Management : Handle high-volume hiring with finesse—interviewing up to 30 candidates for a class of 10 security officers. Your multitasking and organizational skills will shine in this fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
  • ? Team & Training :
  • Join a close-knit team of two coordinators and four recruiters.
  • Receive hands-on training from a senior coordinator.
  • This opening is due to a parental leave and planned departure—your arrival is timely and valued.
  • ? What You Bring :
  • Experience : 3–5 years in administrative roles, preferably in HR or recruitment. Event coordination or interview scheduling experience is a plus.
  • Tech Savvy : Comfortable in a Windows environment, proficient in Outlook. Familiarity with ICEMS (applicant tracking system) is a bonus.
  • Education : High school diploma or GED required—no specific degree necessary.
  • Soft Skills : Excellent communication, a collaborative spirit, and a respect for structured processes and regulations .
  • ? Work Style & Schedule :
  • Fully Remote : Yes
  • Standard Hours : 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM Central Time, Monday to Friday. Occasional extended hours only during major hiring events.
  • Time Zone Preference : Central or Eastern Time zones preferred, but not mandatory.
  • ? Compliance & Onboarding :
  • Monitor background checks via third-party vendors.
  • Coordinate medical exams with occupational health.
  • Ensure candidates meet export control and work authorization requirements.
  • ? Industry Experience? Not Required.
  • While energy or utility sector experience is a plus, it’s not a prerequisite.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :

Pay Range

  • : $30.00 - $31.72 per hour
  • Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
