Clinical Denials Specialist

A company is looking for a Clinical Denials Specialist responsible for managing accounts receivable related to denied claims to ensure financial viability.

Key Responsibilities

Investigate denied claims and follow up with insurance companies and hospital departments

Compose non-clinical appeals and manage appeal letter submissions

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding hospital billing

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

One year of training in medical billing, coding, or insurance processing

Associate degree in a related field preferred

Knowledge and experience with EPIC medical billing preferred

Experience with hospital billing preferred
