As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in assessing psychiatric patients alongside emergency department professionals. Your expertise will guide disposition recommendations, ensuring patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct timely and accurate assessments using diagnostic skills and adhering to state-specific regulations.
• Provide safe, clinically appropriate disposition recommendations that may range from higher-level psychiatric placements to community resource connections.
• Act as the primary communication bridge among clients, families, emergency department staff, and external providers.
• Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Display proficiency in DSM diagnostic criteria and treatment planning.
• Conduct evidence-based suicide risk assessments and implement safety planning.
• Exhibit professionalism while resolving conflicts and employing critical thinking.
