Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Must be willing and able to travel locally (23 hours each way) to project sites as needed. Land Development Manager
We are seeking an experienced and driven Land Development Manager to join our growing team and lead the development of built-to-rent communities from pre-construction through project completion. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of horizontal development and infrastructure delivery for single-family rental neighborhoods across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end land development process for BTR communities, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
- Oversee consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of sitework, utilities, paving, and amenity infrastructure.
- Coordinate with acquisition, entitlement, construction, and property management teams to ensure seamless project transitions.
- Monitor development progress against key milestones and budgets, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Secure all necessary permits, inspections, and regulatory approvals in collaboration with city, county, and utility agencies.
- Manage bid processes and negotiate contracts for land development-related scopes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and internal policies.
- Conduct regular site visits, including local travel up to 23 hours each way as needed to monitor construction progress and meet with stakeholders.
