The Role We're seeking a Regional Applications Engineer to join our Chandler, AZ operations. In this role, you'll will provide full engineering leadership for complex, large-scale rental projects, including turnkey sewer bypass pumping, water transfer, dewatering, and HDPE pipe fusion. Provide comprehensive engineering support for assigned projects, leading all phases from pre-bid planning to system design, submittals, re-submittals, and ongoing project support, with a focus on large-scale, complex projects.Serve as the engineering anchor, ensuring technical accuracy, reliability, and compliance with project plans and specifications.Develop and validate pumping system designs, utilizing CPE's fleet of self-priming end-suction equipment, and generate system curves overlaid onto pump curves to confirm equipment recommendations.Collaborate with sales teams, branch managers, and customers to design and propose tailored pumping solutions.Conduct detailed engineering calculations for bypass system design, leveraging CPE proprietary tools and industry-standard hydraulic software.Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical oversight and conducting training sessions to enhance team capabilities.What You Will Bring
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil or related field); Advanced degree preferred.10 years' experience in pump systems, hydraulics, or related fields.Proficiency in hydraulic tools, AutoCAD, Bluebeam (or similar PDF software), Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams), and other relevant software for project execution.Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply project plans and specifications to develop reliable solutions.Experience in the Municipal market or familiarity with municipal transport processes.Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex projects under pressure.Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with experience guiding junior engineers and conducting technical training sessions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.Ready to Apply?
