Gear Up For Your Role
Reporting to the Director of Loss Prevention and Asset Protection, the Loss Prevention Area Manager will work to reduce lost revenue and expense due to poor inventory control, employee turnover, damage claims, safety violations, theft, and general inefficiencies. In addition, this individual will utilize both a research and project management skillset to drive the development and implementation of new / improved business opportunities to increase overall revenue for the organization. The Corporate Loss Prevention Specialist is critically responsible for enabling the field leadership team to effectively plan, manage, and control their business, both operationally and financially.
This role is tasked with consistently representing the "voice-of-the-field" to corporate functions by leveraging strong field leadership partnerships and serves as a central point-of-contact across the organization for matters that involve store Operations. The right candidate for this role will consistently maintain a positive and constructive attitude, be comfortable with an environment of change, and use effective relationship skills to connect field and corporate functions, bridging gaps.
How You Will Drive Success
Develop and Implement Loss Prevention procedures that help reduce or eliminate shrink and theft through analysis of available reporting resourcesProvide meaningful analysis and recommendations to Senior Leadership regarding areas of potential riskGuide field leadership in executing the organization's strategic plan; designs and implements timelines, goals, objectives, expected measurements and work standards for store locationsAdvise leadership of internal and external best practices to positively impact the business throughout operational initiativesMonitor and interpret changes in external policies and regulations, evaluate resulting business impact, develop changes to internal policies and procedures as required, and ensure adoption.Proactively develops, evaluates, and enhances all store policies and procedures to increase the overall quality of services provided, and best connects store operations to all corporate functions.Effectively lead and motivate teammates at varying levels, either directly or indirectly, to ensure exceptional results.Develop and Implement teammate retention strategies through recognition, engagement, and communication.Oversee inventory management and cash handling procedures, and make recommendations to continuously improve results and accountabilityEnsure corporate initiatives are effectively communicated to the field organizationEnsure adoption of a safety-first culture by owning safety processes, leading store response in emergency crisis situations and creating event plansManage necessary vendors Safety, Compliance, environmentalOther related duties as assignedUnder The Hood What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management or similar preferred5 years multi-unit retail / restaurant experience preferredLoss Prevention certifications preferredDemonstrated P&L management, with a commensurate size and scopeModerate travel expected : 30% or greater at times
