Job Title
R&D Engineer I
Provides engineering support to material, product, and process development programs.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Under direct supervision, assists in conducting engineering experiments on new materials, products, processes and / or procedures.
- Participates in projects to optimize and improve existing materials, products, processes and / or procedures.
- Assists with project plan development, execution and reporting activities to support CoorsTek project management activities.
- Assists with documenting work instructions and procedures.
- Operates process and test equipment per existing procedures.
- Exerises hands-on responsibility for assigned processing and / or analytical equipment.
- Works collaboratively under the guidance of more senior engineers with the Operations and Commercial sectors of the company.
- Participates in the company's safety culture and continuous improvement efforts.
- Undertakes training to develop skills.
