EHS Specialist

Location : R&L Spring Company & Medicoil – Lake Geneva, WI

About the Role

We’re looking for an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to help us maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. You’ll partner with teams across the facility to ensure compliance, drive safety initiatives, and support sustainability efforts that make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety inspections, hazard assessments, and job safety analyses.
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and track corrective actions.
  • Maintain safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Oversee environmental compliance (waste, stormwater, air emissions).
  • Lead sustainability projects and prepare ESG documentation.
  • Deliver EHS training and keep records up to date.
  • Promote safety awareness through meetings, campaigns, and toolbox talks.
  • Conduct ergonomic assessments and lead behavior-based safety programs.
  • Track EHS performance metrics and maintain OSHA logs.

What You Bring

  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state / local regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (EHS software a plus).
  • Preferred certifications : OSHA 30-hour, First Aid / CPR, CSP, ASP.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–5 years of EHS experience, ideally in manufacturing.
