Overview

Public Relations Senior Vice President (B2B Technology)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee $1.5-$2M in account revenue as the most senior strategic client counsel
  • Develop coherent strategies for clients and projects while managing key accounts
  • Generate business revenue within existing clients by expanding the scope of work
  • Mentor and develop staff, ensuring effective performance management and goal-setting
  • Represent the employer and clients at high-level industry events and conferences

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity
  • Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors
  • Extensive writing and editing experience across various print and online media
  • Experience in managing a comprehensive strategic communications, media relations, and marketing program

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns
  • Innovative thinker with a track record of translating strategic thinking into actionable plans
  • Previous experience in building, managing, mentoring, and coaching a team of communications specialists
  • Familiarity with setting up measurement programs and assessing the ROI of communications activities
  • Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
