Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A skilled Speech Language Pathologist is sought for a contract position in an engaging elementary school setting. This role focuses on providing essential communication support to students, particularly within K-1 and life skills classrooms, fostering their academic and social development.

Qualifications :

  • Valid Kansas Speech Language Pathologist License
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of elementary education and varying student needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including students with special needs

Location : Spring Hill, KS

Responsibilities :

  • Assess and treat students with speech and language disorders in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to implement therapeutic interventions
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and develop comprehensive support strategies
