JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE : Warehouse– Packer LTL

DEPARTMENT : Warehouse

REPORTS TO : QC & Packer Lead Position

Summary : This position is responsible for performing the tasks involved in preparing materials for shipping by weighing, packing.

Essential Functions :

• Verify products and quantity of items delivered by order pickers to packing slips by physically verifying part numbers, quantity of each item(s), measurement or description, etc.
• Report defective materials, inaccurate quantity or wrong part to the Depot Supervisor.
• Have all packing materials ready and available prior to pre-packing and staging of an order.
• Ensure that products are packed correctly using banding and shrink-wrap so that shipment arrives to destination intact with no damages / shortages.
• Is punctual and consistently available for work.
• Perform the cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Work in a safe manner, follow all safety rules and report any potential safety hazards to management.
• Perform other general warehouse duties and responsibilities as required.
• Ability to lift / move 50lbs using proper lifting skills.
