Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Deliver consistent, high-quality drinks while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Interact with guests in a warm, professional, and engaging manner to enhance the overall dining and bar experience.
- Perform barback duties, including restocking, juicing, batching cocktails, cutting garnishes, labeling products, and maintaining par levels throughout service.
- Ensure bar stations are fully stocked, organized, and set up for service; conduct regular line checks.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, rotating, and storing bar inventory.
- Monitor and manage responsible alcohol service in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including equipment, tools, and glassware.
- Stay knowledgeable about current beverage offerings, menu items, and seasonal features.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to support smooth service.
- Address guest concerns professionally and promptly, escalating issues when necessary
Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale bar or restaurant.Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, mixology techniques, beer, and wine.Polished personal presentation with excellent guest service and communication skills.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Valid California RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certification and Food Handler’s Certification required.Sommelier training or advanced wine knowledge is a plus.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Compensation & Benefits
