About the Role :

The Social Services Director will lead and oversee the social services department within a manufacturing environment, ensuring the well-being and support of employees and their families, particularly focusing on elder care and long-term assistance needs. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing comprehensive care plans and case management strategies that align with organizational goals and regulatory standards. The director will foster a positive and supportive environment by relating effectively with individuals and teams, promoting a cheerful disposition that enhances workplace morale. They will continuously seek out new methods and principles to improve assisted living services and social support programs, ensuring the highest quality of care. Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in social services, with a focus on elder care and long-term care management.
  • Proven experience in case management and care plan development.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to relate positively to diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage social service programs effectively.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or a related discipline.
  • Certification in Case Management or Long-Term Care Administration.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with assisted living regulations and best practices.
  • Training in innovative social service methodologies and principles.
  • Responsibilities :
