About The Position

Job Title : Radiology Technician - Cardiac Cath Lab

Profession : Radiology Technician

Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8H Days

Hours per Shift : 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM

Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience required

License : ARRT

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have : Active ARRT

Active BLS

Active ACLS

Willingness to apply for the MN Net Study within 2 weeks of acceptance of offer

Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Radiology Technician in Cardiac Cath, EP, and / or Vascular

Experience with heart cath procedures

Experience with peripherals, pacemakers, and ablations

Description :

Perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients.

Ensure the production of quality diagnostic images.

Operate equipment to produce diagnostic images according to patient cases and relevant guidelines.

Ensure the quality of images is satisfactory for clinical purposes.

Conduct heart cath procedures, peripherals, pacemakers, and ablations.

Monitor vitals and chart patient data.

Utilize equipment such as Philips FD20, Azurion B20, Epic charting, MacLab, ACIST injector, CSI, Laser, Shockwave, balloon pumps, temp pacemakers, and Impellas.

All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility.

Flexibility to float to other units / departments as needed.

Participate in call shifts 1-2 times per week and every 4th weekend.

Late team involvement required 1-2 times per week for late procedures.

Maintain compliance with all procedural and safety protocols.
