Launch Crew Member

Salary : $18.00 per hour

The Launch Crew Member is a part of the Launch Apprenticeship Program, a multi-year work / training program. They will work primarily along the 29-mile-long Fort Worth floodway and Marine Creek mowing, building fences, operating equipment, etc. for 30 hours per week. An additional 10 hours per week will be spent in a learning / educational environment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

• Perform vegetation maintenance, painting, and cleaning on pipelines, floodway, ROW or in operations facilities / property
• Utilize weed eaters and / or standard mowers
• Pick up trash along ROW and / or floodway
• Maintain familiarity with strategic District levels of service
• Continuous improvement monitoring and innovation efforts
• Perform other duties as required
