Project Manager

Responsibilities include :
- Overseeing a portfolio that includes dozens of projects at different phases
- Recruiting, onboarding, and captaining a team of engineers for technical problem solving as needed
- Communicating project status to local management, BU & Platform Presidents, EVPs
- Leading three or more simultaneous projects
- Flexible short-term business trips as well as longer-term implementations
- Using skills in process and LEAN to build project scopes so automation technology can improve factory processes and optimize KPI's
- Mapping existing factory processes, educating businesses on bottlenecks, proposing and implementing future states which align with business growth and investment goals
- Owning responsibility for technical project leadership
- Being the project technical expert when needed
- Using engineering skills and subject matter experts to deliver automation solutions
- Spearheading technology research to deliver state-of-the-art processes and designs
- Working across multiple facilities with separate stakeholder teams and processes
- Working with project managers to set and manage goals, deliverables, and timelines
- Building payback models and assisting in writing capital requests
- Using existing Marmon automation implementation process to guide your workflow
- Teaching and mentoring businesses to continue executing projects
- Mentoring and guiding others as required. Leadership opportunities are available if desired
- Updating and improving Marmon processes as you learn
- Attending trade shows and vendor visits to become a rounded industry expert on current state-of-the-art technologies and implementation strategies
