Pali Housekeeping

Pali Mountain is seeking housekeeping staff to help maintain our beautiful site. We operate as a summer camp, outdoor education facility, and retreat center. Housekeepers play an integral part in keeping Pali clean and presentable for our guests.

Summary

As a housekeeper at Pali, you'll play a key role in assisting the housekeeping department as needed, including but not limited to the following :

Responsibilities

Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of cabins, offices, meeting spaces, and restrooms. Cleaning includes but is not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, windows, beds, scrubbing toilets and showers, as well as picking up or emptying trash. Housekeepers are expected to efficiently follow a cleaning schedule and provide consistency quality cleaning.

With the diverse number of groups that we have candidates also need to be flexible and respond to cleaning issues as assigned.

Work Under the direction of the Housekeeping Lead or Manager.

This is a part-time position, year-round, averaging approximately 24 hours per week. The ideal candidate would have availability throughout the week. Our primary scheduling needs are :

Summer Season (May–August) :

• Primary Days : Wednesdays and Saturdays

Outdoor Education / Retreat Season (September–May) :

Typical work week : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Please be advised there maybe opportunities for advancement if you are hired on as a member of our housekeeping team. We look at current and new staff to consider for filling these positions as they become available.

The OE / Conference season is from September through May each year. During that season, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays will be heavily scheduled with lighter attendance on other days of the week. The Summer Camp season is from June to approximately the end of August. During Summer Camp, Saturdays are heavily scheduled with lighter attendance on other days of the week. There is housekeeping scheduled both on specific weekend days year-round.

Days and hours may vary, your schedule may include daytime, weekend, and holiday hours.
