The Position
Grady Health System, a $2.5B health system in Atlanta, Georgia, announces an exceptional opportunity for two accomplished nurse executives to serve as inaugural Associate Chief Nursing Officers for the 953-bed essential hospital. As a member of the executive leadership team, the Associate Chief Nursing Officers (ACNOs) will oversee nursing operations across a large quaternary health system in a diverse and fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of clinical quality, safety, and patient-centered care. The ACNOs will play a pivotal role in advancing the strategic direction to serve a dynamic and diverse community.
The SVP, ACNOs support the Chief Nursing Executive in driving quality, safety, patient experience and employee engagement while strengthening Grady's Nursing Excellence journey. The two roles will oversee the operational responsibility for a group of patient care areas and / or special projects or initiatives. One SVP, ACNO will cover Medical Surgical Units and Women's Services and the other ACNO will manage Critical Care Units including the ICU, IMCU, CV and Neuro Specialty Units.
