IAT Level II Certification or higher per DoD 8570 / 8140 (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 3+ years of IT experience, or 7+ years of directly related IT experience without a degree. Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration (installation, configuration, maintenance). Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Shell scripting (bash, Perl, Python, etc.) for automation. Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware (setup, configuration, management). Experience deploying and managing storage solutions in RHEL environments. Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery processes for RHEL. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in RHEL environments. Familiarity with RHEL patching, updates, and configuration management. Certification : RHCSA, Unix+, or equivalent within 6 months of hire. Experience with enterprise technologies such as Forcepoint Firewall, TTCR / HSG, Rubrik backup, Aruba Mobility Controller, VMware with vSAN, and security tools (PKI, DHUMA, THULE, Splunk). IAT Level III Certification per DoD 8570 / 8140 (e.g., CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH). Experience supporting mission-critical systems and VIP end users. Experience in a DoD environment. Problem solver and troubleshooter with strong communication and organizational skills. Overview
Unix / Linux Administrator (Senior-Level) at Link Solutions, Inc.
Location : Sierra Vista, Arizona. U.S. Citizen. Active DoD Security Clearance. Non-remote (relocation incentive available).
Role supports the U.S. Army NETCOM at Fort Huachuca. You will advise on enterprise system design, implementation, optimization, and enhancement, and assist in defining system specifications and standards.

Job Responsibilities
- Install, rebuild, configure, maintain, administer, and document UNIX and Linux systems, software, systems-related products, services, settings, directories, and storage.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks for proactive monitoring (space usage, log / dump files, error correction).
- Create, document, and implement repeatable processes to install, test, upgrade, maintain, and patch system environments and software.
- Develop, document, implement, and maintain system management policies, procedures, and standards.
- Create, modify, delete, and document user accounts.
- Complete and maintain DISA STIGs.
- Maintain daily operation and incident resolution of virtual machines, operating systems, and applications to ensure optimum performance and availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related incidents detected during monitoring, by other teams, and by users.
- Provide Tier 2 or 3 support in an enterprise-level, globally distributed environment.
