job_description.job_card.job_descriptionResponsible for maintenance of plant equipment and facilities including, performing routine checks, repair of electrical equipment, pump repair, roof repair, HVAC minor maintenance, painting, welding, concrete work, and carpentry. Perform Preventative Maintenance as instructed. Setup and startup of equipment and machinery as needed including electrical, controls and piping installation. Use forklift to transport materials and for elevated work. Establish and maintain excellent housekeeping facilities. Responsible for the safety of people and the environment of the facility by following existing policies, procedures, and practices. Ensure that the company's management principles, polices, and programs are consistently practiced. Establish and maintain records and reports. Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required High School Diploma or Equivalent / technical school a plus Minimum of five years in maintenance or construction industry Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing plant environment Experience in warehousing, packaging, and production operations. Good written and oral communication skills Must be able to work independently and self-initiate work Must possess strong mechanical, electrical and controls aptitude Ability to read, understand and perform detailed technical work instructions and drawings. Ability to train others in the area Fork Lift Skills required Ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet and work on elevated platforms Ability to wear required specialized Personal Protective Equipment in the safe handling of chemicals. Must pass a physical examination per OSHA 1910.134 Ability to do repetitive, strenuous and heavy lifting; lift 55 lb bags, carry 50 lb pails, roll drums up to 500 lbs, heavy lifting up to 125 lbs Basic computer skills. Must wear safety shoes. Must wear chemical-resistant gloves when working with chemicals. Must wear safety glasses in restricted areas. Must obtain forklift certification. Must wear safety belts and / or any other aid when required. No beards are allowed per OSHA 1910.134. Must pass a physical examination per OSHA 1910.134. Must wear goggles, apron, rubber boots, etc. as required by MSDS and / or job safety analysis.

Supervisor : Production and Maintenance Supervisor
Hours : 6 : 00am – 4 : 00pm Monday – Thursday, 6 : 00am – 10 : 00am Friday
JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance and skill repairs on complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems and monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness.
