We are seeking a Fertility Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in women's health and a passion for helping individuals and couples navigate fertility treatments. The NP will provide direct patient care, collaborate with physicians, perform clinical assessments, and support patients throughout the fertility journey.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive fertility assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations, included but not limited to transvaginal ultrasounds, endometrial biopsies, and sonohysterograms.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
- Perform transvaginal ultrasounds to monitor follicular development, endometrial thickness, and early pregnancies.
- Educate patients on fertility treatment options including IUI, IVF, ovulation induction, and third-party reproduction.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies.
- Prescribe medications related to fertility treatment and manage side effects.
- Perform intrauterine inseminations.
- Provide counseling and emotional support to patients during all stages of fertility treatment.
- Assist in coordination and timing of cycle monitoring, egg retrievals, and embryo transfers.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians, embryologists, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure excellent patient care.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with Nurse Practitioner certification.Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in Missouri.National board certification as a Women’s Health.Minimum 2 years of experience in women’s health, OB / GYN, or fertility.Proficiency in ultrasound use for fertility monitoring preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and emotionally sensitive clinical environment.Why Join Us
