Responsibilities
Collision Repair : Assess and repair damage to vehicle bodies, ensuring precision and safety in alignment and functionality.
Estimate Evaluations : Collaborate with insurance appraisers to determine accurate repair estimates and cost-efficient solutions.
Parts Replacement : Remove and replace damaged parts with high-quality components to maintain vehicle integrity.
Refinishing : Utilize painting tools and techniques to restore vehicles to pristine conditions, matching colors and finishes flawlessly.
Quality Control : Conduct thorough inspections on completed repairs to ensure standards and client satisfaction are met.
Customer Interaction : Engage with customers to explain repair processes and provide updates, fostering trust and assurance in services provided.
Safety Practices : Maintain a clean and organized workspace ensuring all safety protocols are followed to prevent hazards.
Requirements
Experience : Minimum of 2 years in auto body repair or a related field.
Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a formal vocational program in auto body repair is a plus.
Skills : Proficiency in sheet metal work, frame alignment, sanding, and painting.
Tools : Experience with using industry-standard repair equipment and tools.
Certification : ASE certification is preferred but not required.
Attention to Detail : A keen eye for detail to ensure repair quality meets showroom standards.
Problem-Solving : Effective troubleshooting skills to accurately assess damage and determine efficient repair solutions.
Physical Stamina : Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy parts and standing for extended periods.
Teamwork : Strong ability to collaborate with colleagues and other departments to achieve optimal repair outcomes.
Communication : Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and customers as needed.
