Wright Technical Services is proud to represent a highly respected manufacturer making strides in their industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind designing and implementing sophisticated, scalable, and resilient systems on Microsoft Azure. You will leverage your expertise in DevOps, AI, and advanced problem-solving to tackle complex business challenges and deliver cutting-edge solutions that make a real impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Microsoft Certifications ( Azure Solutions Architect Expert ) is highly preferred.
- 10+ years in software development or IT, with at least 4 years in a solution architecture role.
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of the Azure ecosystem , including IaaS and PaaS services such as Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage. A strong grasp of Azure networking and security is essential.
- Proven experience building and managing CI / CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions . Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or Bicep is required.
- Demonstrable experience architecting solutions that incorporate AI / ML services , with a strong preference for experience with the Azure AI stack .
- A natural ability to analyze complex, ambiguous problems and develop innovative, practical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Required industry experience : Retail, apparel, labels, manufacturing, sports, or similar.
- Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with data platforms such as Azure Synapse Analytics or Databricks.
- Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development environment
Description and Responsibilities
Architect & Design : Lead the technical design and implementation of enterprise-grade solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform, ensuring they meet standards for security, scalability, and performance. This includes translating complex business requirements into clear, comprehensive architectural blueprints.DevOps Leadership : Champion and implement DevOps best practices, including building and managing robust CI / CD pipelines, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and establishing comprehensive monitoring and alerting strategies.AI Integration : Design and integrate Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning services (e.g., Azure AI, Azure OpenAI) into new and existing applications to unlock business value and drive innovation.Technical Strategy : Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business leaders to translate complex requirements into technical blueprints and strategic roadmaps that align with Avery Dennison's long-term goals.Problem Solving : Act as the ultimate escalation point for complex technical challenges, dissecting root causes and architecting elegant, effective solutions.Mentorship : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.Communication : Clearly and effectively communicate architectural designs, strategies, and trade-offs to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.Industry and Business Acumen : Collaborate with stakeholders in the apparel, manufacturing, and sports industries to understand their unique business challenges. Architect solutions that enhance core capabilities like supply chain visibility, inventory management, and digital customer engagement, leveraging knowledge of the apparel and embelex business.Eligibility : All applications current authorized to live and work in the United States on a Permanent basis are welcome to apply.
