Licensed Practical Nurse

BrightStar Senior Living is looking for Licensed Practical Nurses to join our amazing team in Mason. Our nurses support residents with routine daily care and services in accordance with their care plan to meet their physical, emotional and psycho-social needs. Position Responsibilities Summary :

• Assist residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with their assessment and care plan.
• Provide assistance with residents' medical, clinical, personal care, transport / transfer / mobility, household, dining, recreational and social needs.
• Assist in the administration of medications.
• Take and record vital signs and chart pertinent information in the resident's medical record, as directed.
• Observe and document the health, condition and eating habits of each resident, promptly reporting any changes to the Director of Health and Wellness.
• Promptly report injuries, safety issues and changes in residents' condition and / or needs.
• Assist in the admission and discharge processes.
• Compassionately assist with end of life care. Education / Certification Requirements :
• High school diploma.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Valid Nursing License in the State of Ohio : LPN, LPV, or RN Skills / Qualifications Requirements :
• One (1)+ year experience in a similar role, preferably from within a Long-Term Care, Assisted Living and / or Memory Care community
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Caring and compassionate disposition
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving and transporting residents
• Flexibility : the Nurse will be required to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the community. Work hours shall remain flexible to meet the needs of the community, its residents, staff and operations. Position may require working weekend and evening hours and / or on-call status Benefits :
