The Opportunity

The Business Development Representative (BDR) fuels MEDIcept’s growth by researching target companies, generating new leads, and qualifying inbound inquiries from marketing campaigns, events, and referrals. You’ll identify opportunities, schedule discovery meetings for senior sales leaders, and may manage select small accounts through the full sales cycle building the foundation for a future Account Executive role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research prospective clients in MedTech and digital health markets
  • Drive outbound prospecting via calls, email, and LinkedIn
  • Qualify inbound leads and schedule discovery meetings
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in Salesforce
  • Partner with Marketing to refine lead lists and messaging
  • Achieve weekly and monthly goals for outreach, meetings, and pipeline creation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of lead-generation or sales-development experience, ideally in healthcare or consulting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging executive-level contacts
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead-sourcing tools (ZoomInfo, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Organized, motivated, and goal-oriented with strong time-management skills
  • Compensation & Benefits :

  • Base salary : $48,000–$65,000 (based on experience)
  • Performance incentives : Meeting bonuses, quarterly pipeline bonuses, and small-account commissions
  • Total earning potential : $70K–$90K+ annually (base + incentives)
