JOB SUMMARY

The Transformer Assembler is responsible for timely and accurate assembly of sub-assemblies and complete transformers according to customer specifications. This role involves handling complex and repetitive mechanical tasks, performing inspections, and ensuring assemblies meet quality standards while adhering to safety procedures and company policies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to assemble sub-assemblies and full transformer units.
• Operate cranes to lift and move transformers and assembly materials.
• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components, including transformer legs.
• Conduct visual inspections of materials before and after assembly to ensure quality.
• Use fixtures, gauges, hand tools, and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair products.
• Perform point-to-point wiring during Power Distribution Unit assembly.
• Inspect completed assemblies and make necessary adjustments to meet quality goals.
• Adhere to environmental, health, and safety rules and regulations.
• Provide process improvement and safety enhancement suggestions.
• Ensure proper calibration of machines and tools; perform housekeeping duties following 5S+ principles.
