Opening this fall, FOLK is a new cocktail bar from the team behind LORE, led by Executive Chef and Bib Gourmand honoree Jay Kumar. With a balance of neighborhood warmth and refined hospitality, FOLK celebrates the people who shape the community and make New York City extraordinary.

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile team member to serve as both our front of house Host and Barback. This unique position is ideal for someone who thrives on guest interaction while also supporting the flow of service behind the bar. As Host, you’ll be the first point of contact—welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism. As Barback, you’ll work closely with the bar team to ensure they have everything needed to deliver a world-class beverage experience.

• Requirements
• 2-3 years of host experience; barback experience a plus
• A hospitality-first mindset—warm, professional, and guest-focused
• Ability to take direction and support team needs with efficiency and care
• Full time positions that require evening and weekend availability
• Exceptional social skills; organized, detail oriented and kind
