Program Summary
The MITRE Early Career Program (ECP) is a dynamic, immersive initiative designed to nurture future leaders by providing tailored on-the-job training and experiential learning. Targeting professionals with 0-3 years of experience, ECP guides participants from entry-level Associate roles to Senior Analyst positions, emphasizing personal and professional growth within a single department.

Foundations
Cohort-Based Model : Participants join as a cohort, benefiting from shared experiences, peer mentorship, and team-building opportunities.
Initial Placements : Cohort members are placed across different centers (e.g., CIT, Intel, CECOM), focusing on core departmental responsibilities.
Curated Training : Managers develop training modules complemented by hands-on examples to accelerate learning.
Year 1 Group Project : Within the first six months, cohorts collaborate on a group project to identify and address inefficiencies, delivering actionable solutions.

Basic Qualifications
Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience with a related Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of related education and work experience. Must have 1 year of professional finance and / or accounting experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (i.e. Pivot tables & Core functions). Strong attention to detail resourceful self-starter who executes on commitments. Mindset of continuous improvement with the capacity to drive change. Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and influencing skills. Applicants selected for this position may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet government suitability requirements. This position requires a minimum of 4 days a week on-site.
Preferred Qualifications
Academic excellence with financial or quantitative interest / competence. Experience with Data Visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
Salary Compensation Range and Midpoint
$59,000 - $74,000 - $89,000 Annual
