GIRL'S GYMNASTIC COACH

CLOSING DATE : Open until Filled

PAY RATE : $12.78 per hour

SCHEDULE : Part Time : 3 : 00 pm - 6 : 45 pm weekdays and varied schedule on Saturday morning (to be discussed during the interview).

DEPARTMENT : Recreation

JOB SUMMARY

Use basic gymnastic form, flexibility and conditioning skills to teach girls, age 5 to adolescent, gymnastics.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Personal gymnastic experience with a strong knowledge of girl's gymnastics is preferred.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Friendly personality and demeanor.
  • Ability to work well with all types of youth.
  • Physically strong to safely spot adolescent youth in gymnastics
  • Able to help move heavy equipment.
  • Knowledge of gymnastics techniques and safety procedures.
  • Perform warm-up routines.
  • Create and implement lesson plan.
  • Provide feedback and encouragement to students.
  • Communicate with parents about student progress and behavior.
  • The ideal candidate is a self-starter with enthusiasm for teaching girls through motivation and role modeling.
