Urology Physician Locums Job 24-Hour Call Coverage

We are seeking a Board Certified Urologist to provide 24-hour call coverage as a Urohospitalist at a busy Level 1 Trauma Center in South Carolina.

Details / Requirements for Assignment :

Schedule : 24-hour call coverage, including rounding, procedures, and consults

Patient Volume : 20-25 inpatients over the weekend, plus 15-20 consults

Trauma Cases : Must be comfortable with open procedures, including : Gunshot and stab wounds (kidneys, testicles, bladder repair)

Support : No APP coverage on weekends

EMR : EPIC

Procedures :

Stone care, stents, catheters, cystoscopies

Pediatric torsions, incidental appendectomy

Adrenal surgery, hernia repair, endourology procedures

Hand-assisted laparoscopic nephrectomy
