Position Description :

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute DVP-R and certification tests using advanced data acquisition systems.
• Set up test equipment, perform vehicle tests, and analyze post-test data for validation.
• Conduct subjective driving evaluations (~75% of the role) covering ride comfort, steering, routine handling, and limit handling, including performance in challenging conditions, especially on ice.
• Use CANanalyzer and diagnostic tools (CDA preferred) for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Support calibration and integration of braking, traction, and stability control systems.
• Contribute to the design, release, and validation of brake components.
• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Shainin, DFSS, Red X) to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety, performance, and certification standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility with overtime and frequent testing trips (10–50%).
• Leverage expertise in DFMEA / SFMEA, DVP-R methodologies, and INCA software.
• Utilize formal training in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) where applicable.
• Willingness to undertake 3–4 testing trips within the USA annually, each lasting 1–2 weeks.
