What You’ll Do

This role executes region‑wide Capability GTM strategy, collaborates with industry partners to win new customer opportunities, and contributes to delivery leadership in customer engagements. A requirement is to live within Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, or Phoenix.

  • Creates demand by proactively speaking at external conferences and events to generate net‑new opportunities.
  • Supports Slalom‑led thought leadership events in the context of Capability and related client outcomes.
  • Leads campaigns, RFIs, RFPs, workshops, and POCs to ignite specific opportunities.
  • Researches client portfolio needs and adjusts focus to resonate topics.
  • Partners with industry‑aligned client partners and sales executives to identify and pursue potential opportunities related to technology‑led outcomes.
  • Acts as a solution lead or SME in the pursuit process, identifying appropriate SMEs from the broader capability team as needed.
  • Participates in multi‑capability solutioning and client‑outcome–based selling motions with GTM team.
  • Works together with peers in other markets and regions to evolve the GTM approach.
  • Leads individuals through direct and indirect reporting relationships to scale GTM focus and results in the market.
  • Has responsibility for an organizational team that includes Build‑discipline expertise.
  • Acts as a mentor to other practitioners in the area of Capability.
  • Participates in performance management via providing feedback to Capability team members.
  • Contributes to delivery as a delivery solution lead or SME within the market’s portfolio.
  • Engages as a leader within Build Capability, such as Software Engineering or Solution Ownership.
  • Works with GTM leader and broader capability leadership to contribute to capability growth and cost projections.
  • Works to achieve forecast against revenue targets.
  • Works proactively with market leadership to identify when a capability is unhealthy at market level to adjust strategy.

  • Product Engineering – Experience leading cross‑discipline teams delivering with Agile methodologies.
  • Accelerated Engineering with AI – Understands how AI changes software development and teams can move faster.
  • Enhance and Operate – Extends teams into production with modern operations, using Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Team‑Based Delivery at Scale – Experience delivering engineering projects with scale teaming models.
  • Product Mindset – Has a product mindset with experience and approaches to product strategy.
  • Working with Partners – Works with AWS, Microsoft, Google, and other top partners in a sales or delivery motion.
  • Inspirational Leadership – Demonstrates forward‑looking strategic and critical thinking.

    Compensation And Benefits

    Base pay ranges for Director : $175,000 to $281,000; for Senior Director : $206,000 to $329,000, plus discretionary bonus and benefits such as paid time off, health coverage, and more.
