Communications Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Communications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and executing our communication strategy. You will be responsible for managing internal and external communications, ensuring that our messaging is consistent, clear, and compelling.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to support organizational goals.

Create and distribute engaging content across various platforms, including social media, websites, and newsletters.

Draft press releases, articles, and other promotional materials to enhance the organization's public image.

Manage relationships with media representatives and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.

Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on communication metrics and outcomes.

Coordinate internal communications to ensure all employees are informed about key initiatives and updates.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

Proven experience in a communications role, preferably within a corporate or nonprofit environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.

Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms, including analytics tools.

Ability to work collaboratively, as part of a team or independently, in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
