The Oncology locum tenens opportunity in South Carolina

Location : Suburb of Myrtle Beach, SC

Duration : June 2022 December 2022 (potential for extension or conversion to permanent)

Reason for recruitment : Growing practice

Schedule : Monday Friday (36 patient contact hours, 4 admin hours)

Clinic volume : Approximately 10 per day (7-8 follow ups, 2-3 new patients)

Call : 1 : 3 (week blocks)

Call volume : Low, round approximately one hour per day and can be done between 8a-5p since the clinic is on campus. Last patient scheduled when on call is at 2 : 30p

Scope : 40% hematology, 60% oncology

EMR : Cerner in clinic and hospital (dragon dictation available)

Group : 2 other oncologist, 2 Oncology NPs, RNs

Hospital : 210 beds, level III trauma

Required : Board certified or board eligible

License : With a South Carolina license or willing to apply (approximately a 45-day timeline)
