Job Summary :
The Product Delivery Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of projects, from initiation to closure, with a focus on onboarding state agency websites onto the GovHub digital publishing platform. This includes assembling project teams, assigning responsibilities, managing schedules, and providing technical guidance. The role requires strong project management skills, experience with content management systems, and the ability to work with executive-level management.
Location : Washington, District of Columbia, United States
Responsibilities :
- Develop project charters in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Define and manage project scope, schedule, resources, risks, and budget.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Set expectations and align stakeholders and team members.
- Implement actions to mitigate project risks.
- Record customer requirements and constraints.
- Obtain project charter approval from stakeholders.
- Follow project management methodology and standards.
- Develop and manage project plans using standardized software.
- Conduct project meetings and presentations.
- Advise on issues affecting project status and offer solutions.
- Capture lessons learned and process improvement documentation.
- Formalize final project acceptance.
- Provide technical guidance for a Drupal-based content management system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Certifications :
5 years of project management experience in website development.5 years of proficiency with Agile project management methodology.5 years of experience working with project management digital applications.5 years of experience with Atlassian products including Jira and Confluence.5 years of working knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Project.5 years of experience evaluating risk and defining risk management strategies.5 years of excellent oral and written communication skills, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.3 years of experience with vendor management.Preferred Skills & Certifications :
Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.Experience working with websites with the State of Georgia or another state.Special Considerations :
