About The Position

Job Title : Inpatient Pharmacist

Profession : Pharmacy

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (06 : 30 - 15 : 00)

Experience : Acute care experience within the last 3 years

License : Licensure as a pharmacist in good professional standing

Certifications : PharmD or RPh preferred

Must-Have : Epic experience required

Description :

Seeking an Inpatient Pharmacist with strong acute care experience.

Candidates with only recent retail experience will not be considered.

Epic experience is a prerequisite.

A VA state license is required.

A Pharmacy Residency from an accredited institution is preferred.

Intravenous experience and pharmacotherapy management are necessary.

Experience in a computerized hospital pharmacy setting is desirable.

The ability to work independently is essential.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Familiarity with Pyxis, Carousel System, and Epic is preferred.

This position will include a weekend and holiday rotation.

First-time travelers are accepted.

The facility is a busy department with a daily census of 330-360.

The average patient population includes neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Candidates will not float within their scope to meet facility needs.
