Responsibilities
- Represent clients before EOIR and USCIS
- Handle complex asylum cases and other forms of relief
- Manage and lead a team of legal professionals
- Conduct thorough client interviews and develop winning case strategies
- Research and work extensively with country conditions experts
- Write appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals
- Maintain meticulous case notes and documentation using Filevine
- File detailed motions, briefs, and appeals
- Liaise with government agencies including ICE, DHS, and EOIR
- Provide exceptional client service throughout representation
Qualifications
Active law license in good standingMinimum 3 years of removal defense experienceCompleted at least 30 Individual Calendar Hearings (ICHs), with emphasis on asylumStrong courtroom presence and litigation skillsExcellence in written and oral advocacyProven track record of successful case outcomesOutstanding client service skillsMeticulous attention to detail in documentation and researchExperience writing successful appeals to the BIATeam management experienceSpanish language proficiency is REQUIREDCompensation & Benefits

This role is located in Phoenix / Glendale, AZ. We are offering $5,000 in relocation assistance to move to Phoenix, AZ if you do not currently live in Arizona.
