Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport, Louisiana seeks a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible (BC / BE) Neuromuscular Specialist to join our outstanding Academic Neurology department and dynamic team. Leadership opportunities available to qualified candidates. We invite applications for the following position :

  • Position : Full-time Academic faculty
  • Academic Rank : Determined based on level of experience and qualifications
  • Description : Open to BC / BE Neurologists with a commitment to both patient care and academic growth. The successful candidate will by a dynamic Neuromuscular Specialist. Leadership opportunities available depending on qualifications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Delivering high-quality clinical care to patients with neurological conditions.
  • Medical student and Neurology resident education, including supervision in clinics, grand rounds, and didactic conferences.
  • Participation in departmental activities and contributing to the growth of the Neuromuscular program.
  • Mentoring and providing clinical expertise to faculty and residents.
