Our Electrical Products business unit in Smart Infrastructure develops low and medium-voltage technology and solutions for power systems.

We are looking for a Spring 2026 (January–May) Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer Co-op to join our low-voltage switchgear team as part of the Operations Leadership Development Program with our Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products division. This position is based in Grand Prairie, Texas.

This co-op will prepare you for a potential opportunity with our two-year rotational Operations Leadership Development Program and other entry-level roles upon graduation.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing current assembly, scheduling, and production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with production, planning, and manufacturing engineering teams to gather insights and understand daily challenges.
• Designing and implementing streamlined workflows that enhance throughput and optimize resource use.
• Developing and maintaining visual management systems (dashboards, trackers, MES visibility tools) to support real-time decision-making.
• Monitoring the impact of implemented improvements and adjusting strategies to ensure sustainable performance gains.
• Documenting processes, creating training materials, and supporting the adoption of new practices.
