Title : Surgery and Procedure Scheduler

Job Type :   Full-time, Monday – Friday, 40 hours

Location : Flagstaff, AZ

Pay range to start :   Hourly pay based on 40 hrs / week  Commensurate with experience

Job Description :

  • Surgery scheduling in clinic for two physicians both in-person and over phone.
  • Personally working one-on-one with patients
  • Preparing surgery packets
  • Ordering pre-surgical testing for patients
  • Organizing medical / cardiac / dental clearances
  • High volume of phone calls and in person scheduling
  • Maintaining / communicating provider surgical schedules
  • Other projects / duties as directed

Requirements :

  • Medical-office administrative experience REQUIRED
  • Surgery or procedure scheduling experience preferred
  • Exceptional customer service, communication and critical thinking skills
  • Must believe in a patient-centered approach
  • Outstanding teamwork attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal qualities
  • Work at an efficient and fast pace and thrive in a high intensity environment
  • Must be able to multi-task when under pressure
  • Must be self-motivated to achieve success
  • Must be highly organized and have exquisite attention to detail
  • Must have clear / concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Medical office and surgery scheduling experience preferable
