Patient Access Associate, Nights
Responsible for : Serves as a Call Center agent to support for the Patient Access Registration Call Center within Piedmont Healthcare. Performs Registration activities in a remote environment to ensure patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic / clinical data. Calculates patient financial responsibility, presents patient financial options / requirements and processes patient payments. Performs functions for multiple sites across Piedmont Healthcare and includes various services lines including emergency department, L&D, and assigned Outpatient locations.

Shift : Sunday-Thursday 3pm-11 : 30pm
Qualifications :
Minimum education required : High School graduate or GED equivalent
Minimum experience required : One (1) year exp in one of the following : 1. Healthcare Revenue Cycle 2. Clinical role 3. Related clerical accounting / finance / retail.
Minimum licensure / certification required by law : None.
Additional qualifications : Three (3) years of healthcare Revenue Cycle / Call Center experience preferred. Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred. Prior Epic experience preferred.
