Maintenance Mechanic : Fond du Lac, WI

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to join our client’s team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, overhauling, and repairing a wide range of stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. If you thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and are passionate about keeping operations running smoothly and safely, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Adhere to safety policies, housekeeping standards, and quality guidelines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
  • Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and mechanical systems
  • Identify and resolve mechanical irregularities and malfunctions
  • Troubleshoot PLCs and electrical control systems
  • Maintain and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission, and vacuum systems
  • Fabricate and weld replacement parts using machine tools (e.g., lathes, grinders, welders)
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and complete required documentation
  • Assemble machinery using hand / power tools and welding equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience :

  • Education : HSD or equivalent, required
  • Experience : 5+ years of mechanical experience in an industrial environment, required
  • Knowledge : Diagnosing & repairing complex mechanical systems, interpreting blueprints, load-bearing capabilities & mechanical safety standards, required
  • Hands -on Skills : Welding & fabrication, required

    • Pay : $25.00 - $28.00 / hour

    Type : Full-time, 1st shift for training, 2nd shift post-training, On-site

    Schedule : Monday – Friday 3 : 00 p.m. – 11 : 00 p.m. MUST be available for training on 1st shift, 7 : 00 a.m. – 3 : 00 p.m.
